The Original Bomb Pop® is my all time favorite summer treat! Between me and my two kids, I can’t keep them in the freezer. So I am making these sweet and frosty slushy floats that could easily become a tradition for any summertime festivities that everyone will love!

I love the look of serving drinks in small mason jars- especially when gathering outside. So that was my glass of choice for these floats and then I chose lime sherbet and lemon-lime soda to pair with The Original Bomb Pop®.bombpop2

Of course while picking up ingredients at Walmart, we couldn’t pass up some of favorite Blue Bunny® treats including our favorite ice cream- Monster Cookie Mash!

To make the frosty floats, I began by adding 3 scoops of lime sherbet to each mason jar. I chose the lime flavor because that is my favorite section of The Original Bomb Pop® but you could easily switch it up.

After adding the lime sherbet, I poured the lemon-lime soda into the jar. The reaction between the sherbet and the soda is what creates the fun cloud-like foam at the top of the drink.

Finally, for the pièce de résistance, The Original Bomb Pop®!

I positioned The Original Bomb Pop® into the top of the float through the foam. They are perfect for adding a bit of fun and color to your summer days. I also trickled in a bit more soda on top because I loved the puffy cloud of foam that was forming.

These frosty drinks are going to be a big hit at any summer get-together- so perfect for the the 4th of July with the iconic red, white, and blue colors and sweet icy taste!

June 29th was National Bomb Pop Day so my daughter hopped on Snapchat and turned herself into a Bomb Pop!
